Jacob McKeever has been working in wealth management since he started his career. Jacob chose this field for its unique blend of intellectual challenge and personal connection, requiring expertise in investment strategy, legal frameworks, and business acumen—while also offering the rewarding opportunity to support clients in working toward their long-term financial goals.
In this role as an Associate Wealth Advisor for 1834, a division of Old National Bank, Jacob helps high-net-worth individuals and families work toward growing and preserving their wealth.
With an active listening approach and a fresh perspective on the industry, Jacob prioritizes:
- Listening to clients’ background and life story to help redefine goals and create a roadmap to financial success.
- Building and bringing together a team of well-rounded experts tailored to his clients’ financial philosophy and plan.
- Being reliable and adaptable through every step of a clients’ journey – through the highs and lows of life and the industry.
Prior to joining 1834, Jacob was a Wealth Paraplanner at Bremer Bank.
Graduating in 2022, Jacob earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. Committed to advancing his expertise and providing the highest standard of financial guidance, he obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) designation in the spring of 2025, a credential that reflects his dedication to comprehensive financial planning and ethical practice.
An active member in the Fargo-Moorhead area, Jacob is a regular volunteer with the Great Plains food bank and the United Way of Cass-Clay. In addition to volunteering in the community, he is also very engaged in local sports – supporting local teams and managing a slow-pitch softball team.
