Katie Florig has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. After starting her career in institutional portfolio management, Katie moved to private wealth management, where she found the personal connections made with individuals, families, and foundations rewarding. As President of 1834, a division of Old National Bank, Katie is responsible for the strategic growth of the wealth advisory and trust and estate business. She leads a tenured team of wealth advisors and trust officers throughout Old National Bank’s footprint whose focus is delivering holistic, integrated wealth management services to high-net-worth individuals and families.
Katie believes that true wealth management is comprehensive, solutions-based, and flexible. She prides herself on keen listening to identify concerns and aspirations. Only then, she believes, is when the team can properly identify and address how best to help clients build a plan that works toward their goals.

Katie has a bachelor’s degree in finance from Miami University in Ohio. She also earned her Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designations. She is a member of the Chicago CFA Society and the North Shore Estate Planning Council, and serves as a board member for the Writers Theatre of Glencoe, Ill.
Outside of work, when Katie isn’t spending time with her family, she tries to spend as much time as possible at the local horse stable.
